The Oberoi Spa by Banyan Tree is located in a restored Rajasthani mansion, which now houses four new spa suites and six treatment rooms along with a beauty salon. The relaxation area overlooks the beautiful landscaped gardens and offers the ultimate pampering experience to world-weary guests.

FITNESS

The Spa overlooks over the Resort’s main swimming pool, which is heated in winter. It is a major feature of the hotel, framed by two pink sandstone torches, and two exquisite domed Chattris which reflect themselves in the Jaipur blue-tiled waters, providing one with a very elegant way of keeping fit.

The beautiful gardens around the pool allow one to reflect in peace, the occasional sighting of a peacock adding a little drama. For a little more action and a bit of friendly competition, the Resort has two perfect tennis courts which are floodlit, so that guests with a tricky tiebreak can go on playing after dark.

Guests who like to go home toned will make good use of the fully-equipped gymnasium, while others who seek only a little diversion may prefer a round on the five-hole pitch and putt green.

Those determined to exercise the mind instead will enjoy the Rajwada library, which offers a selection of beautiful coffee table books as well as classical literature and where you can also enjoy a quiet drink. Music and films are available to take back to your room from a selection at the Concierge.

The very best way to see the Rajasthani  countryside is from the back of a horse. Riding can be arranged nearby. For a more traditional trek through the countryside, guests may also opt for a wonderful Elephant Safari which is followed by a picnic at the base of Naila fort.
