Tropical Fantasy
Experience the magic and sensation that come alive only in Cancun. Enter the Ballroom of Caribbean colors. Dazzling hues of fuchsia, aqua, cobalt, red and white cover every chair, and brilliant gold floor-length drape veils the tables. A three-foot banana tree, set in the center of each table, is surrounded by tropical fruits, fresh-cut flowers and votive candles. The Ballroom ceiling is majestically draped in a vibrant rainbow of silks highlighting the enchantment of the evening. Live palm trees, trimmed with white lights, adorn the ballroom. The spirited sounds of a tropical salsa band add the final touch to an unparalleled Tropical Fantasy.

Jungle Theme
All guests are encouraged to dress as if they were going on a Safari...
Outside the ballroom, our jungle native greets each guest and helps them over a wild river via a wooden bridge where they enter the "Jungle Party."   Imagine entering a plushly filled room with exotic trees and plants of the jungle. Throughout this beautiful greenery you will find the animals of the Jungle, Lions, Tigers, Zebras, Giraffes... and this is only the beginning. High above are the camouflage nets which our playful stuffed monkeys and colorful papier mâché birds have made their home. Additional plants and leaves are added in the nets. The leaf theme is continued to the floor, where you will find leaves beneath your feet, just like walking throughout the jungle. But wait, do I hear the sounds of the natives playing their drums?   The sounds of the jungle fill the room as each guest approaches their table, beautifully covered with White Linen. Their waiter, dressed in Safari attire right down to his authentic pith hat, is there to greet them.  Each table's centerpiece is created from fresh fruits, flowers and a string of small leaves, and large palm leaves are even used as a placemat for your Ritz-Carlton Base Plate. The table would not be complete without each chair being covered by leopard and tiger print fabric.

Welcome to the Night of Kukulcan
Celebrate one of the greatest civilizations known to mankind – The Mayans. Guests are welcomed to our courtyard garden by two nine-foot replicas of the ancient Kukulkan serpents. Water cascades from a sculptured fountain and flows down three levels of terraces spilling around an illuminated Chichen Itza Pyramid.  As the sounds of traditional music set the ambiance for the evening of Mayan mystique, uniformed waiters greet guests with cocktails and tropical drinks.   Surrounded by Tiki torches and palm trees, Chac-mol, the Rain God, presides over this festival. Regional Foods, perfected by our culinary team, are served from Mexican clay "Cazuelas." Fresh tortillas, prepared by a traditionally dressed Mayan Chef, are served from the Comal stove as they were thousands of years ago. Mexican artifacts, fresh flowers and hand-sewn linens decorate the food stations. Dining tables are adorned with a small replica of a Chichen Itza pyramid positioned on a large palm leaf.  Mayan-spiced coffee is served from authentic Olla. For a perfect complement to this exciting event, regional desserts are presented while guests enjoy soothing Mayan music.

Caribbean Beach Party
A tropical breeze, a sugar sand beach and the Mexican Caribbean are an ideal setting for a luxurious fun-filled beach party. Set directly on our beautiful white-sand beach, banquet tables are appointed with Hurricane Lamps and are adorned with conch shells overflowing with tropical flowers and colorful linens reflecting the casual elegance of The Ritz-Carlton, Cancun. Tiki torches and the sounds of a tropical band set the Caribbean Island mood. Wait staff, dressed in tropical attire, greet guests with exotic specialty drinks served in coconuts and pineapples. Buffet tables are decorated with nautical items, antique sailboat models, Caribbean shells and fishing nets, and guests serve themselves from mock treasure chests.   The unmatched Caribbean Fun culminated when guests partake in a limbo and macarena contest. The music's rhythm makes this night unforgettable.

The Night of the Stars
All the winners are Stars, why not make this the evening of your stars, the best sales people, the best vendors...

Your guests enter the ballroom, and they feel like walking out into the night of stars. All the walls are covered with black fabric that have small lights in different colors. The tables are all in white, with black chair covers. A pin light is set to illuminate each table. The centerpiece is three Crystal Bowls surrounded by small gems in transparent and blue shades. The fabulous dinner menu is accompanied by the sounds of Piano and Flute.   This is the evening where all your employees are recognized on stage for their exceptional work they have done throughout the year. After all the awards, a well-known Dance Band invites them to dance the night away, under the stars.

The Three Faces of Cancun
A festive evening showcasing the three cultures that have influenced this tropical island is the perfect introduction to the three faces of Cancun. Guests begin this progressive dining experience with a reception featuring the cuisine of Mexico. An array of hors d'oeuvres and food presentations are set among stunning Mexican artifacts and tropical flowers. Traditional mariachi music is the ideal backdrop for this first face of Cancun.   For the second face, the group progresses to an adjacent area for the Caribbean Feast including grilled seafood and steaks, as well as an array of specialties from the Islands. Indigenous flowers, nautical props and Tiki torches accent the area, and dinner guests will be entertained by a Mexican Trio.

The third face features a dessert buffet filled with sumptuous sweets from the Mayan region amidst the decorations of fresh flowers and traditional Mayan statues. Mayan instrumental music adds to the mysterious ambiance of the three faces of Cancun.

Steak and Lobster Party
The Ritz-Carlton's Steak and Lobster Night serves as the perfect evening after a day under the magnificent sun of Cancun, set amidst the cool, white sand and the refreshing breeze of the Caribbean Sea.  Chefs grill exquisite lobster and steak directly before guests, and waiters graciously serve food in a casual outdoor beach setting. The finest of Mexican red and white wine complements this gourmet feast.  To complete the evening, The Ritz-Carlton provides musical trios with a wide variety of melodies.

Mexican Fiesta Night
Uniformed waiters greet guests with traditional margaritas. Festive sombreros, piñatas, serapes and maracas are placed throughout the party as the sounds of mariachi fill the evening air.  Food stations offer an abundance of Mexican cuisine amidst decorations with pottery artifacts, hand-blown glasses and fresh tropical flowers. Dining tables are set with clay vase centerpieces and fresh flowers surrounded by votive candles. While Dining, our delighted guests will enjoy "Jarocho" music, a traditional Mexican Quartet.

Casablanca Night
An unforgettable evening that brings back lots of memories, the music, the atmosphere of the movie that everyone loves.  The entrance is like walking to the Club, all is in white and the waiters are dressed in the authentic costumes. The sound comes from the Piano and your guests will travel back to the time when this movie was made.

Underwater Paradise
Clad in casual attire, or for a final night formal event, guests focus on the dazzling colors of a coral reef as they step into the underwater paradise. Brilliant turquoise, light green and blue create a remarkable environment.   Tables feature turquoise floor-length linens and light green chairs that face small coral reef and conch shell displays. The Centerpiece is out of two fishes, one large one at the base and one floating three feet up in the air.   As the large fishes float over each table, the blue waves envelope the ceiling. Bubbles throughout the room reflect the broken sunshine that permeates the underwater world.

Mexican Small Town Fair
Imagine traveling to a place that encompasses all the flavor, coloring, atmosphere, traditions and fun that characterize Mexican small town fairs. The spectacular event will take you to that place.

Party scenery is an incredible replica of a Mexican town with buildings constructed practically true to scale. Featuring buildings such as a colonial church, the municipal building, the jail, the band and of course, the popular cantina.  This village offers a wide selection of games for the party-goer including dart board games, a Mexican lottery, horse races, Catch-a-Fish, ring throwing and marble game.  Food Stations are set between games and the village houses. Expanded decorations include Mayan props such as Chac-mols, Kukulcan serpents, flowers and much more.

Pirates Night
The evening begins as guests don pirate attire of striped shirts, shorts and eye patches.

Tiki Torches surround the beach area. Covered with colorful linens, the tables feature centerpieces of mini treasure chests overflowing with jewels. Buffet stations are decorated with nautical props, fishing nets and seashells, and the food is served from large treasure chests.   Waiters, dressed as pirates, greet guests at the entrance of the beach with margaritas, beer and wine. A special welcome will be extended by the host, dressed as Captain Hook with a live parrot perched on his shoulder. Additional parrots enchant the entrance, providing a perfect photo opportunity.   Steam rises from a traditional cook-out grill, where large lobster tails and steaks broil. The chef is dressed as the French pirate Captain Jean Laffite.   Reggae and tropical music entice guests to dance, while large waves spill from the sea and crash over a traditional pirate ship.

Caribbean-Mexican Beach Party
The sparkling white sand of the Caribbean offers the perfect setting for a cocktail reception on the beach. Guests are greeted by waiters serving tropical drinks in hollowed out coconuts and pineapples. Caribbean specialty foods are presented in ice-carved bowls, authentic dinghies and treasure chests.   The soothing sounds of the sea accentuate the lighthearted music of a Calypso band. Decorated with Tiki torches and dinghies, the beach will be illuminated with white lights to portray a nautical theme.  After cocktails and hors d'oeuvres, guests will be escorted to the area where a sumptuous buffet highlighting Mexican and Caribbean food awaits them. Buffet tables decked with lush tropical arrangements and pirate jewels and dining tables, the authentic lanterns and conch shells filled with flowers are the perfect complement to the luscious cuisine. After dinner the guests will dance to the best of the calypso music and top off this enchanting evening with savory desserts and coffees served on the beautiful Beach.
