Blue Tip, a Greg Norman-designed nine hole
golf course.

Greg Norman has designed only two nine hole course in his illustrious career. Open only to guests and Residence owners of The Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman, Blue Tip delivers fiercely on its shark pedigree.

Sure to be dubbed a "nine-hole Caribbean monster," the course rouses golfers with its five long Par Fours into the Caribbean trade winds, which can make a 470-yard hole play like 600.

The 3,515-yard, par 36 course offers five sets of tees for varied play. Blue Tip features five long Par Fours and a 600 yard Par Five. Water comes into play on eight out of nine holes. Carved along a serpentine waterway with sweeping views of the North Sound, Blue Tip at The
Ritz-Carlton, Grand Cayman is the first course to be constructed on the island in 10 years.

Blue Tip enhances the guest experience with its Golf Caddie Concierge Program. This provides a professional attendant to accompany each golfing group and cater to every wish before, during and after the round. In addition to offering advice on precise yardages, club selection and strategy in handling tricky Caribbean trade winds and water, the caddie cleans clubs, rakes bunkers and repairs divots. The recommendations are particularly handy on the tough Ninth Hole, a short Par Three playing into crosswinds, with an island green guarded by four bunkers.

The Caddie-Concierge will assist the players in many ways, including:

  • Provide course strategy
  • Locate golf ball
  • Provide accurate yardage
  • Repair ball marks
  • Rake bunkers
  • Clean golf clubs
  • Educate guests on the unique aspects of Grand Cayman
  • Provide assistance with food and beverage needs
  • Ensure players have the most unique on-course experience

Blue Tip also offers a pro shop, private and group instruction and rental equipment.
