| Our on site Beach Olympics provides a morning, afternoon or evening of colossal excitement and teamwork. We will organize set-up, supervise, and provide all equipment in grand style with banners and flags. We recommend choosing five events for a 1.5 hour program.
All Beach Olympics begin with a stretch warm-up (10 minutes)
A Team Cheer prepared by each individual team (15 minutes)
Obstacle Course
A race of varied skills and action where each team runs against each other through a course
of inflated tubes, kiddy pools, through hoops, and many more obstacles with a sprint to the
finish.
Ten Down Under
Teams have ten minutes to bury as many team members as possible, up to their necks in sand.
Flour Relay
Teams have to transfer flour from one bucket to another using only their hands.
Crab Drag Racing
No live sea animals needed for this event. At the starting line, each twosome gets on the
ground, side by side. Their inner arms and legs are tied together. The first twosome crabs to
go around the cone, and back wins the event.
Coconut Drag Racing
Teams must "nudge" coconuts down the beach using only their heads or feet to do so.
Kayak Race
Teams race out into the ocean in kayaks, around buoys, back to shore, and relay off to
teammate. Lots of splashing and fun!
Kiwi Golf
No explanation needed here, just as it sounds with one exception, instead of a golf ball we
use a kiwi fruit.
Castles in the Sky
In this event teams have ten minutes to build the tallest sand castle possible using only
the shovels, buckets and their hands.
Dizzy Lizzy
Relay of equilibrium and loads of laughs! Teams run down to end of course, pick up bat,
place bat to the forehead leaving the other end on the ground, run around bat 6 to 8 times
(dependent on group), and race back to teammates, if he or she can make it! Also available is
combination chug-a-lug with dizzy lizzy.
Beach Ski Relay
Ski the beautiful white sand? Hot skiing when teams race against each other on beach ski
built for six. A true team effort!
Chug-a-lug
Traditional "chug-off". Team finishing most beer, (or substitute beverage) in an allotted
amount. You must use a drinking straw with this event.
Tug of War
A show of pure brute strength. A four-team rope is available.
Horseshoes
How about a game of horseshoes? Old fashion great fun!
Sand Sculpture
Teams are given one bucket and one shovel. Teams must create and build a sand sculpture
(according to the theme given).
Flippin' Out
Teams race from shore to water, swim out and around buoy and back to shore. Catch is you
must wear flippers, mask, and inner tubes!
H20 Balloons
Teams are given a towel and a set of balloons filled with water. Teams must bounce their
balloons from one end of the beach to the other end of the beach. Without bursting any of their
balloons.
Spoonin the Bay
Teams must race from the beach to the water, fill a spoon with water, race to a bucket on
the beach and deposit the water. The team that fills the bucket first wins.
Scoring
Teams are given points for each event.
Team accumulating most points is overall winner.
